Tim Hedgepeth is an independent theater artist, teacher,  arts consultant, and the co-founder of Allegro Stage Company. Since returning to his hometown of San Antonio in 2005, Tim has directed several productions, including The History Boys and Mame for San Pedro Playhouse,
Fire on the Bayou, Let's Misbehave!, and ...Charlie Brown for Allegro Stage Company,
Les Liaisons Dangereuses for Trinity University, A Midsummer Night's Dream and Tartuffe for Northwest Vista College, The Goat or, Who is Sylvia?, Mr. Marmalade and The Last Days of Judas Iscariot for AtticRep, and musical revues for the McNay Art Museum and San Antonio Library Foundation.  He is adjunct professor of drama at Northwest Vista College and his alma mater Trinity University.  Courses include Acting, Introduction to Drama, Theatre History,  Principles of Arts Management and Theatre Appreciation.   Prior to returning to San Antonio, Tim was the executive director of the Mississippi Arts Commission in Jackson where he also founded Renaissance Theater Workshop. His productions there included Hamlet, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Suddenly Last Summer, The Masque of Orestes, Trifles, and Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?  He has served as a  grants panelist for the National Endowment for the Arts and several state and municipal arts councils.  Recent productions included Fascinating Rhythm! for Allegro Stage Company, Dracula for Northwest Vista College, and The Robber Bridegroom for Trinity University.
